The cycle of post-dramatic texts Princess dramas with subtitle Death and the girl, Nobel laureate Elfriede Jelinek wrote it at the turn of the century and completed it in 2002, as a feminist addition to the fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm. In the cycle, Snow White and the Snow Maiden are no longer helpless girls at the mercy of men, but women who want to escape death even though they know that the attempt is doomed to failure. Death is already written on them with their initials, they can only surrender to it and save themselves from the unnecessary effort of escape – the only thing they can do with death is to confide in it, to talk to it about their story. In contrast to them, Jackie (Onassis) is death itself. Cancer gnaws at her, and she, transformed into a statue, tells the audience her "true" story: she was forced to become the perfect woman, a refined image, a darkness that not even the light of Marilyn Monroe, who haunts her, can penetrate. In The Wall, the final installment of the cycle, Ingeborg Bachmann and Sylvia Plath, two great women writers who overshadowed their husbands who were also writers, try to recreate the world. They push through the wall, but they can't break it or clear it to see what's behind it. They have to find another way.
