And just when they think that up there is high and down there is deep, they win millions on the lottery. And what now? The play is funny because such is life, but it is also sad because as we know, such is life. The play does not deal with general and global themes. The world has long forgotten man. The world has stopped looking for the human in man. Every man is a small universe, and we have forgotten to talk about that small universe, we have forgotten to ask ourselves what is happening to man. "Life begins for us" is a representation of man, of that little person we meet on the street every day, who works with us or is a relative of ours, of that little person we see in the mirror every morning.
