The theater invites artists to try for a performance date for a production of a play on the independent stage. The public call is open until September 1, 2025.
The project “Days of Independent Production” will be held from September 9 to 19, 2025. The selected applications submitted to the Public Call will be provided by Drama Theatre for guest performance on the “Risto Stefanovski” and “Small Stage” stages of the theatre, as well as the technical equipment that enables the performance of novelties and presentations of innovative, authentic and quality theatre projects.
Application requirements:
The performance should be an independent production, realized in the last two years (from January 1, 2024 until the end of the public call).
Applicants should submit:
A brief description of the performance.
Technical requirements (scenography, lighting, sound, etc.).
A link to a video of the performance or photographs.
Biography of the authors and performers.
The performance should be adapted to the technical capabilities and capacities of the “Risto Stefanovski” and “Small Stage” stages of Drama Theatre.
Drama Theatre Skopje provides:
Performance space with complete technical support.
Promotion of the performances through this Drama publication sent to the media and announcements through Drama Theatre’s social networks.
Ticket sales at the box office and online sales.
Agreement for compensation of 50% of the income generated from the sale of tickets for the performance.
After the selection, the authorized persons from the independent productions applying to the Public Call for the performance of the performance will sign an Agreement for the assignment of the right to use the space to Drama Theatre Skopje.
